Equipment

  • 1 Black skillet I love using black skillet but you can use any baking dish.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees, or if smoking, which is AWESOME, get smoker up to temp, 225 or so. Use a milder wood like cherry or maybe oak.
  • Mix all the ingredients except save half of the bbq sauce and all of the ketchup and for topping later. If it’s not wet enough add a little more bbq sauce or steak sauce. You want it kinda sticky.
  • Place in your baking container and use rest of the the bbq sauce/ketchup mix to cover the top of meat loaf with.
  • Cook until done, internal temp around 165-180 your preference.
