We raised registered Angus cattle for years and once we got the sheep bug we dispersed the cows and I swore I would never own another.  lol, yeah, well that didn’t last long….

I knew I didn’t want full size cows anymore.  I just didn’t want to fool with them.  But the smaller cattle like Dexter or Lowline or Highland would provide us a way to raise our own beef and not have cattle so big we couldn’t consume one whole animal.  So after some research, the Highland breed won by a landslide.  I mean look it them!  How cool are they.  First calf due this fall, so be on the look out for cute calf picture overload!
